The Legislature adjourned for the year early Wednesday. While we some successes this year, thanks to Iowans speaking up, Republican politicians at the Statehouse have ignored real solutions to our state’s workforce crisis, instead treating workers as the enemy.
Iowa gets a failing grade when it comes to protecting kids from sexual abuse & trafficking. SF 32 would remove the civil statute of limitations for people who were abused as minors, allowing them to come forward as adults, seek justice, expose hidden predators & protect more kids from becoming victims.
